Schagerl have worked hard to produce a synthetic bassoon with ease of playability, rigid construction and at a price point to make it accessible to more students. Each Schagerl Bassoon comes with everything you need to get started playing, including a Richard Craig Woodwind Bassoon Reed, bocal and durable case (with wheels).
Schagerl Bassoons come in two different models:
Schagerl 815 Bassoon – ABS Resin body, silver-plated keys with LH whisper-lock and high D, balance hanger, replacement plateau key for short-reach, two silver-plated bocals, seat strap and rolling hard case. Perfect for young students that may be advancing from a Tenoroon or other woodwind instrument.
Schagerl 872 Bassoon – Ecoline Grenadilla/Resin composite body, silver-plated keys with LH whisper-lock and high D, RH thumb Bb & F# rollers, balance hanger, replacement plateau key for short-reach, two silver-plated bocals, seat strap and rolling hard case. Ideal instrument for schools, versatile enough for advanced students, robust enough to withstand busy school performance curriculum.

All new instruments come with a minimum 24 month warranty on repairs and we will take care of all servicing and cleaning within the first 12 months upon request. All second hand instruments come with a 6 month guarantee from the date of purchase.

All orders over $100 are shipped free within Australia. Orders less than $100 will be shipped at cost (usually $10-$30) depending on the size of the Australia Post satchel.
