Full Description

A well loved sax with a long history of being played in dance bands all across Australia. One owner from new, manufactured in 1963 and original case (purchased in England). This alto has very little lacquer left and would be a good candidate for refinishing unlacquered or silver plating. This sax was repadded in the 90's and not played much since, however, it is time for a repad and mechanical overhaul to keep playing for another 50 years. If you are looking for the classic Selmer sound - look no further.

Contact us for more information about this alto or come into the store to take a look. The pictures shown are as-is and the sax has not been overhauled. This premium alto can be yours 'as-is' or with a complete overhaul (see below for more details and options).

What's involved? Complete disassembly and removal of all perishable material, cork, felt, pads etc. Mechanical reconstruction, removing lost motion, refitting keywork , replacing springs, hinge rods and pivot screws.
