Servicing:

• Instrument fully dissasembled and body washed/cleaned/polished
• Keywork pins, rods and steels all dissasembled, grease removed in mechanism, rods cleaned, keys cleaned and polished
• Bent and binding keywork problems fixed
• Minor dents removed (if applicable)
• Pads cleaned and assessed, replacing up to 3
• Keycorks and felts replaced as necessary
• Align/shim all pads flush with tone-holes for proper seal
• Lubricate all keywork, rods and steels on assembly
• Regulate mechanism
• Adjust spring tension
• Eliminate lost motion/double action
• Check and adjust fit of tenons
• Replace, custom fit and seal headcork
• Oil bore on wooden instruments
• Test play
• Sanitise

Overhauls:

• Instrument fully dissasembled and body washed/cleaned/polished
• Keywork pins, rods and steels all dissasembled, grease removed in mechanism, rods cleaned, keys cleaned and machine polished
• Mechanism fit and tightened to eliminate side play
• Bent and binding keywork problems fixed
• All dents removed
• All pads replaced
• All key corks and felts replaced
• Tone-holes leveled/rebuilt flat
• Align/shim all pads flush with tone-holes for proper seal
• Lubricate all keywork, rods and steels on assembly
• Regulate mechanism
• Adjust spring tension
• Eliminate lost motion/double action
• Check and adjust fit of tenons
• Replace, custom fit and seal headcork
• Oil bore/body on wooden instruments
• Test play
• Sanitise

• We can customise your instrument onsite in our workshop to your individual needs, whether it be keywork modifications, silver/gold/nickel plating of keys and/or pillars, tuning adjustments, fitting of joints, barrel length…we will work with you to achieve your required results.
